Fankenstein Mystery Game

The Frankenstein Mystery Game was produced by Hasbro in 1963. Its tagline was, 'Find the lurking monster.'

Frankenstein game The board consisted of a cartoon map of a town, broken up into spaces into which the player could move. The town consisted of such places as a morgue, a forest, a dark tower, an old spooky house, a laboratory, etc.

Play was determined by a spinner, with a trio of witches in the center, against the backdrop of Frankenstein's monster lurking near an old house.

Playing pieces consisted of 'Monsterville Game Cards,' which had different characters on the reverse, and four paper Frankenstein's monsters which were placed into differently-colored bases.

Hasbro also simultaneously released The Dracula Mystery Game and The Wolfman Mystery Game, both of which are nearly identical to this item in design and game play.
