Davy Crockett Miniature Pocket Knife

This miniature pocket knife (it only measures about 2-1/4") was produced by Imperial in 1955 to coincide with the popularity of the Davy Crockett TV series featuring Fess Parker.

The knife consists of a regular retractable knife blade, as well as a fixed 'tomahawk'-like blade at the end (which, apparently, could also serve as a bottle opener).

The hilt of the knife is yellow and features a small portrait of Parker, over crossed tomahawk and rifle. The captions read 'Walt Disney's Davy Crockett' and 'Fess Parker as Davy Crockett'.

Imperial produced two other Davy Crockett themed pocket knives at this time: another single-blade (without hatchet) which was also 2-1/3" long, and one with three blades which was 3-1/2" long.
