Davy Crockett Wallet

This handsome Davy Crockett wallet was produced in 1955 to coincide with the wave of popularity enjoyed by the Disney TV show.

The wallet measures 9 inches long by 3-1/2 inches high when opened. Made of brown vinyl, it is patterned to resemble stitched leather. The image on the outside shows a profile portrait of Davy against a colorful background featuring a frontier fort and Indian teepees. The simulated fur on Davy's cap is raised, and its color and pattern vary from wallet to wallet.
The wallet came in a box featuring two-toned green and brown artwork.

The wallet came with a certificate inside, certifying that the item was an 'electronically seamed stitchless wallet.'
